In the Premium Economy, pets are not permitted. $50–59 one-way for domestic flights inside Canada and the US (except Hawaii), and $100–118 one-way for international flights when pets are permitted in the cabin.

Each traveller may bring up to two pets, which will be charged separately. Pet fees for domestic flights within Canada range from $105 to 120.75, while international flights range from $270 to 318.60. If temperatures are excessively high, Air Canada may refuse to transport animals in the hold.

Based on the route and the date your ticket was issued, the baggage allowance for flights departing from Canada and travelling to other foreign locations varies. There is always at least one free bag on foreign trips. A second bag costs a maximum of $100.00.

Bags weighing 50 to 70 lb (23 to 32 kg) are accepted as overweight

Bags measuring 63 to 115 in (160 to 292 cm) are accepted as oversized.

51 to 70 pounds or 24 to 32 kilograms: at least $100.00 CA/US extra per bag

Bags exceeding 70 pounds or 32 kilograms will not be accepted as checked baggage/hold luggage.

 Air Canada (AC) will charge at least $100.00 CA/US extra for bags that are from 63 to 115 linear inches or from 160 to 292 centimeters. Bags greater than 115 linear inches or 292 centimeters will not be accepted as checked baggage/hold luggage.

A surcharge per bag and direction will be applied to bags weighing more than 50 lbs. On international journeys, there is always at least one free bag. A second bag may cost up to $100.00.
