Pets  in the Cabin:

Small cats and dogs are permitted in the cabin on Austrian Airlines flights if their total weight, including the carrier, does not exceed 17 pounds (8 kg). The pet fee is 50 EUR for domestic flights, 60 EUR for flights within Europe, 80 EUR for short-distance intercontinental flights, 100 EUR for medium-distance intercontinental flights, and 110 EUR for long-distance intercontinental flights.

Pets in Checked Baggage:

Pets that exceed the cabin baggage allowance can be transported as checked baggage instead. Pet fees vary according to your itinerary and the size of your carrier. Fees for medium carriers (31" H x 21" W x 21" D) are 80 EUR for domestic flights within Austria; 100 EUR for flights within Europe; 130 EUR for short intercontinental flights; 170 EUR for medium intercontinental flights; and 190 EUR for long intercontinental flights. Fees for Large Carriers (those larger than a medium carrier) are 160 EUR for domestic flights, 200 EUR for European flights, 260 EUR for short intercontinental flights, 340 EUR for medium intercontinental flights, and 380 EUR for long intercontinental flights.

Excess baggage fees:

For journeys starting on Austrian Airlines, an excess baggage fee will be charged in case your baggage exceeds the permitted free baggage allowance. Additionally, a supplementary Excess Baggage Ticket Service Charge, which depends on the departure airport and varies between €10 and €20, will be charged.

Austrian Oversize - Overweight Checked Baggage Fees

Additional luggage charges accumulate. For instance, if you're flying from Europe to the United States and want to check in a third bag that's both overweight and enormous at the airport, you'll have to pay €440 in Economy Class and €320 in Business Class.
