Jetstar Carry-On Baggage Allowance
Jet star is very strict, stating that your carry-on must not exceed 56 x 36 x 23 cm and must fit in the overhead locker.
If you are an Economy Starter, Starter Plus, or Starter Max passenger, the total weight of your main carry-on and a personal item cannot exceed 7kg. If you are a Flex bundle, +7kg extra carry-on baggage, or business class passenger, the combined weight of your main carry-on and a personal item cannot exceed 14kg (no single item can weigh more than 10kg).
Each Passenger traveling on a Star Class fare is permitted one additional carry-on item provided that only one item may be a suit pack or garment bag, provided that each carry-on item does not exceed 22 lb/10 kg, with a total combined cabin baggage weight of 44 lb/20 kg.
Economy Starter, Starter Plus, and Starter Max passengers may bring one main item and one small item weighing no more than 7 kg. Passengers with a Flex bundle, +7 kg Extra Carry-On Baggage, or Business Class fare: one main item and one small item weighing no more than 14 kg.

1. Check-In Baggage Fee For Jetstar Airlines

2. Jetstar Airlines Excess Baggage Fee
For every kilogram of checked baggage above the allowance specified, you will be charged a fee per kg. Please refer to the table below for the schedule of excess baggage fees.

Any checked bag with a single side longer than one meter (39 inches) is an oversized item for which an oversized item handling fee Each passenger can check up to two oversized items. The oversized item fee is a separate handling fee per item, per flight that can be paid online. If your bag is deemed to be oversize, your bag will be put in hold and you’ll be charged a fee depending on your route.
Jetstar Carry On Baggage Sizes and Weight Limitation and Fees
Each passenger can purchase up to 40kg of checked baggage. No individual item can weigh more than 32kg. Any baggage item longer than one meter in any direction is considered an oversized item. Note that items with one side longer than 1 m will be considered oversized items and an oversized handling fee of AUD 25 per item, one way, will apply.
Small instruments under 7 kg and measuring no more than 85 x 36 x 23 cm may be brought on board as carry-on luggage. A larger instrument weighing no more than 15 kg can be brought on board if an extra seat is purchased for it.
The cost per additional kilo is AUD 15 for domestic flights and $25 for international flights. Connecting flights with a domestic and international leg will be charged at the international rate
